What to do if a panel reads keychains SH-02 with the same code while adding them as identifiers?

SH-02 keychains have the same first 3 bytes of number as they contain information about a manufacturer. For correct identifier reading, you need to expand a Wiegand type up to 34 or 58. To do it, you will need a panel web interface and the BAS-IP UKEY Config app:

  1. Log in to the device web interface. By default, the username is admin, and the password is 123456.
  2. Open the Access management tab and find the same part of the page.
  3. At the Wiegand type box, select the necessary type.
  4. Save settings by clicking Submit.
  5. Open the BAS-IP UKEY Config app on a smartphone.
  6. Find the necessary card reader and connect to it.
  7. Enter the installer password and press Save. By default, the password is 123456 or 000000.
  8. In the main settings menu, find the Output interface tab, and set the same Wiegand type as was set at the panel web interface. If in the web interface you indicate Wiegand 34 type, so Wiegand 34 must be selected for the app.
  9. Press Done to save changes.

In case when viewing the available Wiegand types for the reader, there are no other options in the list except Wiegand 26 and the firmware version is 1.43 or earlier – please, contact the BAS-IP service center.  Expanding the Wiegand type requires additional work, that only a certified engineer can do.

If your firmware is later than 1.43, you can update the reader firmware by yourself.
